Generate System Report

Professional client-facing report with measurements, diagnostics, equipment, and certificate.

Professional Sound System Reports and Verification Certificates

SonaVyx Report Generator creates professional-grade documentation for sound system installations, tuning sessions, and commissioning work. Whether you need a quick one-page summary for your own records, a polished client-facing report for the venue owner, or a detailed technical document for the system integrator, the Report tool compiles your measurement data, diagnostic results, equipment inventory, and optimization history into a structured, shareable document. Each report includes a System Verification Certificate with a unique ID and SHA-256 hash, providing tamper-evident proof that the system met specific performance criteria at the time of measurement.

Three Report Templates

The Quick Summary template produces a concise one-page overview suitable for internal records and quick reviews. It includes the overall system health score, a brief list of key findings, and the verification certificate. The Client Report template is designed for presentation to venue owners, event organizers, and facility managers. It uses professional language, avoids overly technical jargon, includes clear visualizations of measurement results, and emphasizes the practical implications of each finding. The Technical Report template is the most comprehensive, aimed at fellow engineers and system integrators. It includes raw measurement data, detailed EQ curves, phase plots, coherence analysis, impulse response data, and complete diagnostic logs. All three templates share the same underlying data but present it at different levels of detail and technical depth.

System Verification Certificate

Every SonaVyx report includes a System Verification Certificate -- a formal document that attests to the sound system's performance at the time of measurement. The certificate displays the venue name, engineer name, date, system health score, a unique certificate ID, and a SHA-256 cryptographic hash of the underlying measurement data. The hash ensures that the certificate's data has not been tampered with; anyone can verify the hash against the original data to confirm authenticity. The "SYSTEM VERIFIED" badge indicates that the system met the minimum performance thresholds defined by SonaVyx standards. This certificate is invaluable for professional documentation, contractual compliance, and liability protection.

Data-Driven Documentation

Unlike generic report templates that require manual data entry, SonaVyx reports are populated automatically from your measurement sessions. When you select a measurement session, the Report Generator pulls in frequency response data, phase measurements, coherence scores, RT60 values, STI metrics, equipment scan results, and AI diagnostic findings. This automation eliminates transcription errors, saves time, and ensures that the report accurately reflects the actual measured performance of the system. If you have performed multiple measurement sessions, you can select the specific session to include, or the generator can aggregate data from the most recent session.

Sharing and Archival

Generated reports can be downloaded as JSON files for archival and integration with other tools. The Share button creates a unique URL that can be sent to clients, colleagues, or stakeholders. Shared reports are accessible without a SonaVyx account, making it easy to distribute documentation to non-technical stakeholders. The Report History list keeps track of all reports you have generated, organized by date and venue, so you can quickly find and re-share previous documentation. For recurring venues, comparing reports over time reveals trends in system performance and helps identify when maintenance or recalibration is needed.

Integration with SonaVyx Workflow

The Report Generator is the final step in the SonaVyx measurement and optimization workflow. Start by running measurements with the Transfer Function tool. Feed the data into the AI Diagnostic for analysis. Use the AR Tuning Guide to apply the recommended corrections. Then generate a report to document the results and issue a verification certificate. This end-to-end workflow -- measure, diagnose, correct, document -- represents the professional standard for sound system commissioning and optimization. SonaVyx makes each step faster, more accurate, and more accessible than traditional approaches, whether you are a seasoned system engineer or a venue technician learning the craft.

Frequently Asked Questions

What data is included in a SonaVyx system report?
Reports include measurement summaries (frequency response, phase, coherence, RT60, STI), equipment inventory with status indicators, AI diagnostic results with problem severity breakdown, and a System Verification Certificate with unique ID and SHA-256 hash. The level of detail depends on the template: Quick Summary is concise, Client Report is professional and non-technical, and Technical Report includes all raw data and engineering details.
What is the SHA-256 verification hash on the certificate?
The SHA-256 hash is a cryptographic fingerprint of the measurement data underlying the certificate. It provides tamper-evident verification -- if any data in the report is modified after generation, the hash will no longer match. Anyone with the original data can independently compute the hash to verify that the certificate is authentic and unaltered.
Can I share reports with clients who do not have a SonaVyx account?
Yes. The Share button generates a unique URL that can be accessed by anyone without a SonaVyx account. Shared reports display all the information from the generated report in a read-only format, including the verification certificate. This makes it easy to distribute documentation to venue owners, event organizers, and other non-technical stakeholders.
How do I select which measurement session to include?
The Report Builder includes a session selector dropdown that lists all your measurement sessions. Select the session whose data you want to include in the report. If no session is selected, the report will be generated with whatever measurement data is currently available. Each session is identified by its name and date.
Can I generate reports for different venues and track them over time?
Yes. The Report History panel shows all reports you have generated, organized by venue name, template type, and date. You can generate reports for different venues and compare system health scores over time. This is particularly useful for recurring venues where you want to track performance trends, identify degradation, and document maintenance work.
