Track venues, measurement history, and acoustic health over time
Managing acoustic measurements across multiple venues is a persistent challenge for audio consultants, system integrators, and live sound engineers. Traditional workflows involve saving measurement files with cryptic filenames on a laptop, hoping to remember which file belongs to which venue and which configuration was active. SonaVyx Venue Management solves this by providing a cloud-based venue database that links every measurement session to a specific location, creating a complete acoustic history for each venue you work with.
Each venue receives a health score from 0 to 100, computed from the most recent measurement results across all tools. The score factors in RT60 deviation from target values for the venue type, STI compliance with IEC 60268-16 thresholds, background noise level relative to NC/NR targets, transfer function flatness and coherence, and the presence of detected problems (feedback, hum, polarity, comb filtering). The health score provides a single at-a-glance metric that venue managers and clients can understand without acoustic engineering expertise.
Every measurement session linked to a venue is stored with its full results, parameters, and timestamp. The trend chart shows how the acoustic health score changes over time, making it easy to verify that system tuning improvements persist after you leave the venue, track acoustic degradation from wear, environmental changes, or equipment failure, and demonstrate improvement to clients with visual before-and-after evidence. Export the full session history as CSV for inclusion in commissioning reports or building management system records.
SonaVyx recognises ten venue types, each with published acoustic targets drawn from international standards. Concert halls follow ISO 3382-1 targets for reverberation time and clarity metrics. Churches and worship spaces use a hybrid target balancing speech intelligibility (STI > 0.50) with musical warmth (RT60 1.5-2.5s at mid-frequencies). Conference rooms follow ANSI/ASA S12.60 for background noise and ASTM E1130 for speech privacy. Classrooms require STI > 0.60 and background noise below NC-30 per WHO and BB93 guidelines. When you assign a venue type, SonaVyx automatically applies the appropriate target values for pass/fail assessment and health scoring.
You do not need to navigate to the venue page to link a measurement. Every measurement tool page (SPL Meter, RT60, STI, Transfer Function, Problem Detector) includes a session panel where you can select a venue before starting your measurement. The session is automatically tagged with the venue, tool type, timestamp, and your device information. This seamless linking means you never forget to associate a measurement with its venue, building a complete and accurate acoustic history with zero extra effort.
The health score (0-100) is a weighted composite of the most recent measurement results for the venue. It considers RT60 deviation from target (25%), STI compliance (20%), background noise vs NC target (20%), transfer function flatness and coherence (20%), and detected problems count and severity (15%). A score above 80 indicates the venue meets or exceeds acoustic targets for its type.
Yes. Pro plan users can invite team members to a shared workspace where all venues and measurement sessions are visible. You can also generate a shareable link for individual venues that provides read-only access to the acoustic history, health score trend, and session summaries without requiring a SonaVyx account.
Your venue data is retained for 12 months after subscription cancellation. During this period you can log in and export all data as CSV or JSON. The free plan allows up to 3 venues with full measurement history. If you have more than 3 venues and downgrade, all data is preserved but you can only view the 3 most recently updated venues until you re-subscribe.
SonaVyx does not directly import Smaart or REW project files, but you can import measurement data in FRD, CSV, or WAV format and link it to a venue. Create the venue in SonaVyx, then use the Import function on the relevant tool page to load your existing measurement files. The imported data will be analysed and scored alongside native SonaVyx measurements.
The free plan supports up to 3 venues with unlimited measurement sessions per venue. The Pro plan supports unlimited venues with full history, trend tracking, team sharing, and export capabilities. There is no limit on the number of measurement sessions stored per venue on any plan.
